Success story: Technical support contract for German military
ObjectSecurity completed a technical support contract for ESG. The end customer was the German military for the HEROS-2/Lot-2 system for the 1st German-Netherlands Corp. Steffen Pohle, project manager at ESG says that „ObjectSecurity offered highly competent, well-managed and cost-effective technical support. We are very happy with MICO open source CORBA, it is very stable, solid, and easy to use”.

UK Cyber Security KTN SOA security project completed
ObjectSecurity completed the SOA security concerns project for the UK Cyber Security Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN). A major deliverable was produced to summarise the main SOA security concerns. Have a look at the outcomes at www.secure-soa.info and contribute your views.

OpenPMF now supports BPMN (Intalio BPMS) - OPENPMF 3.0 NEW VERSION COMING SOON!
ObjectSecurity is pleased to announce that OpenPMF 2.0 now supports business process management based model-driven security management. The feature is available in beta, and the demo ties in with Intalio BPMS. 30 October 2008. A demo video clip is here, and a discussion of this feature is on our blog.

SWIM-SUIT (System Wide Information Management SUpported by Innovative Technologies) The SWIM-SUIT air traffic control R&D is still ongoing.

This month, ObjectSecurity blog discusses more about the need for aligned business and IT security, and the need for process-led security policies. We also discuss recent academic work and a conference in the subject area.

ObjectSecurity drives Model Driven Security standardization in OMG
ObjectSecurity continues to support the standardization of a security policy model standard at the Object Management Group (OMG) consortium to prevent vendor lock-ins and market fragmentation. You can find our response to the RFI on the OMG web page. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this standardization effort, or if you would like to sponsor this standard.
